Pugh Hired as SVP/Marketing

First State Bank is pleased to welcome Lorin Pugh as senior vice president and director of marketing.

Pugh will spearhead the company’s investment in community relations, corporate communication and marketing strategy. With over a decade of experience spanning across organization development, public relations and advertising, Pugh comes to the industry with much success having worked with award-winning teams on local, regional and national levels.

Serving from both the bank’s Waynesboro headquarters and the organization’s Laurel, Miss. branch, Pugh brings a unique blend of advertising and agency-level expertise. As an alumna of Mississippi College and native to the state’s Simpson County region, Pugh established her career in the agriculture industry and most recently served as the director of advertising and creative director at a local Mississippi-based agency.
